Our client is a tier 1 supplier of solar modules, with over 7GW of sales globally last year. They are committed to transforming the energy landscape by providing cutting-edge solar solutions. As the first Head of Sales based in Spain, you will play a pivotal role in steering growth, driving sales strategy, and establishing a robust pipeline for a cleaner and more sustainable future.

With a very strong global network of clients (especially in the US), they are looking for somebody to build upon and maintain the already existing relationships with multinational clients (HQ in Spain) whilst also developing new clients across utility and commercial sized companies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute sales strategies to generate new business opportunities within the solar and BESS market.
- Identify and engage with key decision-makers in potential client organizations, establishing and building upon strong relationships and understanding their energy needs, using existing network.
- Lead relationships with Electrical Utilities, C&I and Renewable energy clients and develop market expansion strategy plan.
- Participate in technical and commercial negotiations and pricing.

**The Person**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years leadership experience selling Solar PV or Battery Storage equipment for Utility Scale and C&I projects.
- Proven experience in sales within the solar PV and/or BESS industry, with a strong track record of achieving targets.
- An extensive network within target clients and senior management teams.
- Be able to solve complex problems, engage customers, motivate and inspire teams to success.

Due to the dynamic growth and acceleration plans, there is a very real opportunity to take on a Director's role in 1-2 years.
