**Partner Solutions Engineering Regional Manager**:
**Location**: based in UK / Germany / Netherlands / Sweden / France / Spain / Italy

As a Regional Manager at HashiCorp, you will work in a high performance team environment to drive our Channel efforts by providing management and mentorship for a team of technical experts across EMEA, creating a force multiplying effect for our sales organisation.

You will be responsible for hiring, reporting, team welfare, and career development for the team members along with working closely with the Solutions Engineering & Architecture (SEA) and Sales leadership within EMEA.

HashiCorp has a consolidated services organization which spans our HashiCorp Professional Services (PS) organization and the professional services offered by our partner community.

In this role, you are expected to empower your team to build partner capability and solutions while also guiding and coaching our sales teams on services strategies to help our customers achieve their goals regardless of the delivery approach.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead a team of domain experts in HashiCorp solutions for the Partner Solutions Engineering function
- Collaborate with Geo SEA Leadership team and the worldwide Partner Solutions Engineering leadership along with geo Partner leaders to implement channel programs and initiatives within the region.
- Creation and tracking of Field Sales Objective (FSO) targets aligned to the overall company channel goals
- Responsible for development and management of Professional Development Plans (PDPs) for all of the regional PSEs
- Delivery of employee annual reviews including coaching and areas of opportunity to improve for the PSE team members
- Assist in creation of the regional SI channel and world wide PSE strategy development
- Work closely with, and identify cross collaboration opportunities with, Cloud Services Providers (CSPs) and Strategic Technology Partner route to market leads
- Ability to provide expert guidance and coaching with strong skill sets in technologies including infrastructure architecture, cloud, IT operations, security or development technologies and processes
- Escalation point for the regional PSEs and Sales teams related to technical partner and channel issues
- Help foster an environment for ongoing strategic SI partner success with the active participation in HashiCorp Sales teams’ meetings and rituals
- Work closely with regional and global HashiCorp Services leaders to align and influence services strategy to regional and geo needs
- Triage services strategy requests within the geo assigned to ensure proper alignment with channel partner and/or HashiCorp PS
- Tracking of services opportunities within geo and assisting sales teams with a pricing strategy for HashiCorp services
- Oversight and execution of the technical enablement of the different partners in the region.

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years technical pre-sales / services / Sales Engineering experience or equivalent experience - practitioners with customer facing experience are welcome as well
- 2+ years leadership experience managing and growing team members
- Past experience working with or for software company in the channel and services
- B.S. degree (or equivalent experience or training) in an engineering or similar program from an accredited college/university/military organization.
- Proficiency in understanding concepts and technologies in DevOps, IT operations, security, cloud, microservices, containers, and scheduling platforms, such as Kubernetes and the integration of those technologies with the HashiCorp tooling.
- Proficiency and/or knowledge of existing HashiCorp tools such as Vagrant, Packer, Terraform, Consul, Nomad, Vault and others
- Experience with implementing software products or solutions to large and dynamic enterprise companies
- Ability to work well in a highly dynamic / team environment that focuses on providing above industry standard customer service
- Domestic and occasionally international travel required
- Based either in United Kingdom, Germany, Sweden, Netherlands, France, Spain or Italy (with right-to-work in location)
