**GLOBAL ACCOUNT DIRECTOR
**The Role:
- MRM Spain is in search of a Global Account Director who will play a key role in spearheading a new project being developed by a recently formed team and lead the global account strategy, participating in the creation of a new drive revenue and profit growth with transformational ideas, innovative business solutions, award-winning creative work, and value creation client performance for one of the world's leading companies.- We believe that what a brand does is more important than what it says—we bring our passion for delivering experiences that people never forget to live inside our walls and with our clients every day. - Work alongside the agencies' most senior/c-level leaders (sometimes daily) to continue driving the brand forward in a highly competitive and fast-paced environment.
- Manage a team of high-performers as they navigate a highly complex and rapidly changing business.
- Identify and generate new opportunities within our clients by proactively seeking out new assignments and by maximizing the potential of all current briefs.
- Develop and cultivate relationships with client partners at the highest levels of the organization.
- Guide the team in opportunity identification, strategic thinking, and the subsequent development of integrated marketing communication programs by brand across the portfolio.
- Expand our agency client list by generating awareness of our capabilities with key potential client partners and top positioning in every business area in which we work.
- Partner with Strategy and Creative counterparts to ensure we are doing the best creative work to differentiate the brand in an increasingly saturated space.

**REQUIREMENTS
- To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrable previous relevant experiences and skills with the following:
**Key Skills**:

- Problem Solving - Proactively identify issues or opportunities and provide multiple solutions that clients would not have arrived at on their own.
- Business Relationship Management - Provide necessary MRM and MW resources to proactively address changes in client's business. Cultivate relationships with senior clients to best anticipate client and business need to drive growth.
- Strategic Thinking - Own the business challenges and competitive advantages when partnering with Strategy to create effective briefs.
- Creative Thinking - Initiate ideas and creative solutions above and beyond what is being asked to solve client business challenges.
- Influence & Negotiation - Find common ground and acceptable alternatives that satisfy the needs of multiple stakeholders.
- Financial Acumen - Create new business opportunities for McCann Worldgroup agencies based on a key understanding of the client's overall business.

**Other Characteristics of an Account Director**
- 8-10 years of agency experience with a focus on large, global brands.
- Experience working with high touch clients in a highly matrixed organization.
- Must understand how to deliver the total brand experience, with experience working across integrated channels that include shopper, promotion, sponsorship, experiential, and digital.
- Ability to think strategically and conceptually, identifying opportunities and the appropriate tactics to leverage our capability and optimize revenue potential.
- Solid understanding of business economics and value drivers.
- High level of professional conduct that instills respect and appreciation from clients, senior management, and team.
- Powerful, persuasive presenter.
- Regarded as a senior marketing leader by clients, peers, and most senior agency management.
- Proven success in leading cross-functional teams or task forces to achieve established business objectives.
- Complex problem solver and relationship manager (a seasoned diplomat).
- Experienced in budget development and management, including creating staffing plans.
- Successful negotiator of tie-in partners, sponsorships, etc.
