**What does this internship consists in?**
Together with Fundación Universidad-Empresa and Camilo José Cela University, Airbus has developed **an exclusive program (DISCOVER) **designed for those interested in the best training in new areas of knowledge essential to be able to develop as professionals of the future.
You will have the opportunity to study a Master, organized in three training blocks, that will allow you to **DISCOVER **the skills most in demand today. It will be combined **with an 11 month internship at Airbus **in an area related to your degree, where you can learn and complete your academic background.
The start of the internship will be in early March, and will last 11 months (August disabled for all purposes). It is a full-time experience (40h/week), in which you will receive a study grant of 1,000 EUR gross per month.
**Description of the position**
We manage physical logistics activities on quality, time and cost through integration of all stakeholders (such as Service providers, Procurement operations, Final
Assembly Lines /Plant Logistics ) acting in the physical logistics process from unloading of parts to delivery to point of use / point of delivery. Implement contract terms and mechanisms.
Contribute to design and implementation of the most optimized logistics solutions.
Organize and monitor shipment of goods from plant to FAL. Ensure the loading/unloading operations by using all necessary means in accordance with Airbus processes and safety procedures.
**Support Logistic and Heavy handling operations Department in Getafe in**:
- Logistic and transport project implementations and follow-up
- Deployment of local initiatives and customization of solutions.
- Control of the day-to-day operations of the warehouse/proximity store and marketplace, stock discrepancies and non movers.
- Follow up and analysis of the discrepancies generated in the inbound/ outbound process/parasitic flows..
- Communication with the supply chain and quality department. ASRM management
- Ensure physical logistics management performance & improvement control.
- Control KPIs (performance, cost, quality, environment).
- Follow-up Warehouse Saturation level
- Contribute to End To End Logistics Solutions optimisation and Surface optimisation.
- Support to secure the adequate maintenance of the standard distributions means.
- Control of modifications/new creation for kanban points
- Assess logistics impacts in case of short and middle term planning changes.
- Contribute to scope change request within a project.
- Support to Industrial Assessments
- Follow-up Change Requests and outstanding works under scope of LSP.

**Your Profile**
- Recently graduates/Master students
- Studies in engineering (aerospace, telecommunications, industrial, mechanical, chemical) ,
- English: fluent negotiation level
- Spanish: negotation level.
- Team spirit and great collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in complex and international environments.
