**What does this internship consists in?**

Together with **Camilo José Cela University, **Airbus has developed **an exclusive program (DISCOVER) **designed for those interested in the best training in new areas of knowledge essential to be able to develop as professionals of the future.

You will have the opportunity to study a Master, organized in three training blocks, that will allow you to **DISCOVER **the skills most in demand today. It will be combined with **an 11 month internship at Airbus **in an area related to your degree, where you can learn and complete your academic background.

The start of the internship will be in early March 2023, and will last 11 months (August disabled for all purposes). It is a full-time experience (40h/week), in which you will receive an attractive study grant.

**Your Profile**
- Recently graduates/Master students
- Studies in engineering (aerospace, telecommunications, industrial, mechanical, chemical),
- English: negotiation level
- Spanish: negotiation level.
- Team spirit and great collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in complex and international environments.

You will be joining the Mass Properties department where you will have the opportunity to learn what is a weight control loop, how mass properties are connected to a great variety of stakeholders throughout the program lifecycle of an aircraft, how we support customer services, how we estimate mass properties in early designs, or how the weighing of an aircraft or component is performed.

Among other tasks, In the Spanish perimeter we are responsible for the Rear Fuselage and Empennage (RFE) and as part of the internship, you will be working on the development and validation of a mass properties estimation tool for RFE in the context of early design phases, including as well its integration with other computation modules from loads and aerodynamic departments.

Given our way of working, you will participate at transnational and/or multifunctional meetings, and you will be involved in the alignment of goals and objectives regarding the estimation tool. Additionally, you will support the local team on different mass properties tasks regarding estimation and calculation of weight, center of gravity and inertia whilst taking care of the impact to the product on any of our aircrafts programs.

**Required skills**:

- Recently graduates/Master students of aerospace engineering
- Proactivity, a utonomy and organization capability.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with an advanced level in Spanish and English.
