**Research Technician position**

**Group of Biomedical Research in Gynecology**

VHIR seek a vacant position for a **Research Technician researcher** in the **Group of Biomedical Research in**

**Gynecology **in order to develop a project in translational research in the area of diagnosis and personalized treatment

of endometrial cancer, ovarian cancer and endometriosis.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Education and qualifications**:
**Required: -**

Laboratory Technician or higher
- Animal manipulation course

**Desired: -**

Strong sense of responsibility, initiative, self-motivation and social skills as key personal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Good level of english

**Experience and knowledge**:
**Required: -**

Previous experience in a translational research group
- Experience in biological samples collection, transport, processing and biobanking
- Experience in mice manipulation

Experience in immunoassay development
- Experience in cell culture and functional studies
- Experience in preclinical studies in mice to test drugs

**Main responsibilities and duties: -**

Participation in projects related to precision medicine in and biomarker research
- Mostly working with biological samples and preclinical models
- General duties in the laboratory and/or participation to complement other research projects

**Labour conditions: -**

Part-time position: 20h/week.
- Starting date: 8 May 2023
