**Clinical Researcher**

**Research Area of Infectious Diseases**

The Infectious diseases Group is a multidisciplinary research team that collaborates in the development of new antibiotics,

new treatments for HIV and treatments for tuberculosis through participation in clinical trials and research projects to

improve the quality of life of patients with infectious diseases.

VHIR offers vacancy/vacant position for a Clinical Investigator within the HIV infection group integrated in the Research

Area of Infectious Diseases.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Education and qualifications**:
**Required: -**

Medicine degree
- Specialist in Internal Medicine
- Clinical training in Infectious Diseases (at least 2 years)
- Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, English (business level)

**Experience and knowledge**:
**Required: -**

At least 1 year of experience working in the management,diagnosis and treatment of patients with HIV
infections
- At least 1 year of experience working in a STI unit
- Experience clinical trials and clinical research
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Motivation for clinical research

**Main responsibilities and duties: -**

Management of database of patients participating in clinical trials regarding HIV infection and research projects.
- Clinical assessment of patients with HIV infection
- Participation in the multidisciplinary clinical case discussion committees
- Support to hospitalized patients
- Participation in the meetings and activities of the Research Group of Infectious Diseases

**Labour conditions: -**

Part-time position: 30h/week.
- Starting date: 01-march-2023
- Gross annual salary: 20.602,87 (brute salary) (Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay
scale)
- Contract**:permanent
