VHIR offers vacancy/vacant position for a Postdoctoral Researcher within the Clinical Neuroimmunology Group. More

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Education and qualifications:
**Required: -**

Have a PhD degree in the field of biomedical research, and additional post-doctoral training in neuroimmunology.
- Written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Ability to conduct independent research.

**Experience and knowledge**:
**We required previous experience in: -**

Strong background in immunology and molecular biology.
- Experience in studies with multiple sclerosis patients and in the animal model of the disease (experimental

autoimmune encephalomyelitis).
- Experience in “omics” technologies.
- Experience in databases and statistical analysis.
- Direction and participation in competitive research projects as principal investigator.

**Main responsibilities and duties: -**

Biomarker studies in multiple sclerosis patients based on microRNAs and exosomes.
- Manuscript and grant writing.
- Teaching and students supervision activities.

**Labour conditions: -**

Full-time position (40h/week)
- Starting date: January 2023
- Length of the contract: 1 year
- Gross annual salary: 31.956,04Euros
- Program: Grant from the National Institute of Health Carlos III (ISCIII)
