**Postdoctoral researcher**

**Biomedical Research in Urology**

The Research Group in Urology is a multidisciplinary group formed by clinical specialists in Urology, Oncology, Pathology

and Basic Researchers with extensive experience in the biology of prostate, renal, and bladder cancer. The collaboration

between clinicians and basic researchers allows for an easier identification of unresolved issues in the current

starting from specific clinical aspects study the molecular mechanisms at the base of disease progression. A deeper

understanding of the pathways involved in the progression of these cancers is necessary to advance in the development

of preventive and curative treatment strategies.

**Education and qualifications**:

PhD in the area of biomedical sciences.
- Good communication skills and fluency in written and spoken English.
- Good marks/qualifications.

Knowledge of bioinformatic tools.

- Publication as co-author in a peer reviewed journal or demonstrated scientific background.

Experience in genomic techniques (WES, NGS, exome-sequencing ).

**Main responsibilities and duties: -**

Give support to the tasks need it in the context of the Tartaglia project to fulfill the aims.
- Collaborate in the project Tartaglia aim to accurately discriminate between indolent and aggressive prostate
cancer

**Labour conditions: -**

Full-time position: 40h/week.

- Gross annual salary: 24.785,40 euros /// (Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are
consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
