The Department of Rheumatology of the Vall d’Hebron Barcelona Hospital Campus is offering a clinical research fellow
position in LUPUS Unit. LUPUS UNIT is looking for a highly motivated clinical research fellow to actively participate in the
financed project title “Stratification of lupus nephritis patients according to their clinical response using REAP-seq:
Approach towards Precision Medicine” by Instituto de Salud Carlos III.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Education and qualifications**:
**Required: -**

Degree in Medicine
- Rheumatology specialist (R5 will be accepted)
- Spanish and Catalan language.
- English language level B2.

Previous research or clinical experience in autoimmune disease***

**Experience and knowledge**:
**Required: -**

Communications skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary team
- Interested in Lupus Erythematosus Systemic disease.

Experience in autoimmune disease - Lupus
- Experience with SAP management program.
- Some publication will be highly valued

**Main responsibilities and duties: -**

This Clinical Research fellow will work collaboratively with medical staff, clinical investigators and
biochemistry/biologist researchers to perform a clinical research project about personalized medicine in lupus
nephritis.
- Sample collection and processing: blood, urine, PBMCs and kidney biopsies will be obtained and processing
from lupus nephritis patient cohort.
- Responsible to perform experiments of the clinical-basic Lupus projects.
- Participation in trial meetings (national or international).
- Clinical assistance
- Participation in clinical trials of Lupus Erythematosus Systemic as medical staff.

**Labour conditions: -**

Full-time (40 hours/week, desired timetable 8-17h)
- Start: Immediately
- Length of the contract: 1year with option to renew
- 23 days of holidays + 9 personal days.
- Gross annual salary: 22.823,22 €
- Contract: Permanent
