**Overview**

DT One is currently seeking a Business Development Director, Barcelona (Fintechs, Large Retailers, Digital kiosks Providers, Digital Banking/neobanks, Payment) with experience supporting a global company. Location is in Barcelona. Having a direct reporting line to the EVP Europe, this role will be responsible for hunting for new clients as a single contributor across Europe with specific focus on Fintechs, Large Retailers, Digital kiosks Providers, Digital banking, remittance & Money transfer operators. The hire will need to be target driven and have a passion and ownership to deliver numbers.

**Key Role Responsibilities**
- Contribute towards the overall sales and business development plan to increase adoption of DT One products & services.
- Key focus on accelerating transaction volumes & gross margin across the defined industry verticals.
- Developing sales strategies using your local market expertise to maximize go-to-market resources and execute against relevant opportunities.
- Responsible for managing relationships to ensure buy-in of stakeholders across the following key industry verticals (Fintech, retailers, Digital kiosks Providers, Digital/neobanks, Payment, remittance and Money Transfer Operators).
- Hands on management of the end-to-end sales cycle, including lead generation, managing live accounts and working closely with C suites within digital, fintech, retail players to close deals.
- Ensure excellent communication and internal coordination to roll-out new services taking into factors of market specificity (regulation, competition etc.).
- Full ownership of customer requests and exploring new opportunities to add value.
- Attend trade shows, follow up on leads, follow up in sales process and increase the reputation of the company.
- Ensure account retention, contractual health, well-being and maximum satisfaction of clients.

**Essential Experience**
- More than 5 years' experience with proven experience in delivering new business.
- Experience working in or selling into Fintechs, Large Retailers, Digital kiosks Providers, digital banking, remittance and money transfer operator channels.
- Good understanding of the digital banking / neobanks, Payment space is highly advantageous.
- Ability to interact and negotiate at C level.
- Strong balance of both strategic planning and active hands-on approach is a must. This will be a hands-on role with deep involvement in execution, leading from the front.
- Must possess a can-do, entrepreneurial drive, focusing on solving problems creatively with a high level of energy in a fast paced, global, complex and geographically diverse company.
- Strong organization skills, management of priorities and the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to influence and build credibility across all levels, hence building collaborative relationships.
- Willing to travel.
- Proficient in CRM, Excel and PowerPoint.
