Latin American country operations include Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru.About the roleThe AML (Anti-Money Laundering) & TF (Anti-Terrorism Financing) Compliance Manager for Mexico and Peru is responsible overseeing the organization's compliance with government laws and regulations while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The AML & TF Compliance Manager is responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing the AML & TF program. Strong collaboration and coordination with the IO and local lines of business is expected to identify potential risks, implement policies and procedures, and mitigate regulatory and reputational compliance risks.Reporting directly to the Compliance Senior Manager, this position will drive the development, management, and maintenance of the organization-wide AML & TF Compliance programs, establishing and driving appropriate policies and procedures, controls and mitigating overall Compliance risk for the organization.What you needBachelor degree in administrative, legal or related fields is necessary (master degree is a plus). CNBV Compliance Officer Certification is required.ACAMS Certification or CICO is a plus.PMI certification or related is a plus.Native Spanish speaker & English proficiency (both written & verbal).Demonstrated proven extensive knowledge of and/or success in roles with managing compliance-related engagements, which includes the following areas: Compliance risk management, including risk identification, evaluation, mitigation and management.Leadership experience and demostrared ability to lead teams across the organization, lead multiple initiatives across the compliance function, and drive results.Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload individually, for junior staff, balance multiple cross-functional duties, and drive deadlines in a consistent manner.Strong communication skills.Strong analytical and data interpretation skills including the ability to review interpret and present data in a concise and precise manner.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Access.Business oriented to collaborate with the company's goals and strategy, while ensuring compliance.Learning capacity and adaptability.What you will be doingEnsure the prompt response of enquiries received from the CNBV.Manage the AML & TF regulatory activities applicable to GM FinancialManage the AML & TF program control framework enhancement and maintenance (Mexico & Peru)
