In parallel to the overall strategic development of the enterprise, the Country Manager will be responsible for the expansion of its activities in the field of Life Science.


Main functions:

  • Collaborate with current management board team and Group Executive Board to set strategic goals and direction for the company. A collaborative approach is a must.
  • Drive business growth and profitability through effective decision-making.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to existing team, fostering a cohesive and high-performing team.
  • Foster open and transparent communication channels within the management team and across departments, encouraging collaboration and information sharing.
  • Represent the company in external engagements, building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.
  • Monitor and assess business performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Champion a culture of innovation, adaptability, and continuous improvement.
  • Uphold the company's values and vision, acting as a role model for all employees.
  • Lead, develop and oversee the the Lifesciences departments, providing strategic direction and driving operational excellence.
  • Lead, involve and collaborate with talented team members, fostering a culture of team work, creativity and mutual support.
  • Manage and mentor team members, empowering them to reach their full potential and excel in their respective roles.
  • Collaborate with Senior Lifesciences experts in IMPAG Group function.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers and partners, facilitating a reliable and collaborative network to generate growth.
  • Identifying new business opportunities, forming strategic partnerships and exploring potential market for expansion.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience working within the B2B chemical Lifescience industry (Food, Pharma, Personal Care), preferable in roles involving sales, business development, distribution. Familiarity with Lifescience industry's unique challenges, regulations and trends is crucial.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading teams in a managerial or leadership capacity. Experience in managing and mentoring a diverse group of professionals to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in overseeing and managing complex projects, from conception to execution.
  • Experience in supply chain management, procurement and vendor relationship management.
  • Proven experience in identifying and pursuing business development opportunities, including partnerships and market expansion initiatives.
