As a Country Controller at Carrier, you will play a critical role in driving financial excellence and ensuring compliance with US GAAP and Corporate policies. Your focus will be on external reporting and statutory compliance matters, with oversight of closing activities, reconciliations, and statutory reporting. You will also support tax reporting and manage third-party activities, requiring a deep understanding of the European environment for manufacturing, distribution, or sales and marketing organizations.
Responsibilities- Oversee and own control reporting activities in accordance with US GAAP, local GAAP, and Carrier policies for all country requirements.
- Own the actuals reporting, financial statement analysis, and reporting for country activities.
- Support Business Unit Controllership Leaders with key initiatives and BU focus items, as needed.
- Owning the full control environment for SOX reportable entities.
- Ability to communicate and influence key Business Partners, Controllers, Finance Leads, and external parties.
- Oversee, identify, communicate, and resolve financial and internal control matters.
- Provide key support to Global Tax, internal and external auditors, and external service providers.
A minimum of 5 to 7 years of professional experience in a finance or accounting role, demonstrating a robust understanding of financial management, reporting, and compliance.
