to help us on our journey to revolutionize road freight logistics. You would join our Spot Operations Team
in the Madrid
office.

ABOUT THE ROLE
- As a _Spot Development Executive,_ you'll work on interesting opportunities that accelerate Sennder's growth, working alongside shippers and carriers, to leverage inefficiencies in the transportation market and generate business growth through flawless operational execution. You'll be collaborating closely with Acquisition Executives, Account Operations Managers, and Carrier Managers to contribute towards the team and Sennder's ambitious monthly revenue and margin targets._
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
- Act as pricing expert for the Iberian spot market, ensuring efficiency and profitability in the quoting of all spot opportunities
- "Put Customers first": Development of strategic customer relationships and show a deep understanding of customer needs
- "Succeed as a Team": Build a strong internal network that promotes healthy revenue growth and carrier coverage while leveraging cross-departmental synergies
- "Run the extra mile": Proactively go above your own responsibilities for the sake of the business/customer/team
- Monitor and consistently control logistic KPIs ( market volatility, transit times, loading requirements, etc)
- Shows professionalism when communicating with external and internal stakeholders
PREFERABLY YOU HAVE
- Proven experience in freight forwarding operations or logistics, at least 2 years.
- Knowledge of the European freight market.
- Strong analytical and resultoriented mindset.
- Selfstarter with a handson working methodology
- Strong negotiation skills
- Previous experience in a clientfacing or salesoriented role in a B2B environment.
- Ability to adapt quickly to unexpected situations in a dynamic environment.
- Stressresistant and able to make decisions under pressure.
- Fluency in Spanish and English, written and spoken; Additional languages a plus
