Payments Business Development Responsible

At Morgan Philips Executive Search, we are looking for a Payments Business Development Responsible for a multinational consumer electronics company located in Madrid.
The position will be responsible for identifying, cultivating, and closing partnerships with banks and other non-payment partners, as well as other relevant stakeholders and will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and sales, to develop and execute effective go-to-market strategies and drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering growth in new Wallet & Pay programme partners, whilst optimizing existing relationships with key partners. Business Development to expand Wallet partnerships, to improve their processes, and to unify the payment gateway
- Building strong relationships across Wallet partner stakeholders and partners
- Partnerships Strategy: Identification and research of potential partners, opportunities and suppliers for Wallet Services.
- Align with European teams on ensuring they are a lead market to test & optimize new propositions, creating a best-in-class experience for customers.
- Development of pitch materials, managing the full sales cycle.
- Partner Development & Go To Market: Negotiating new business to secure Wallet & Pay partners.
- Work closely with the product team
Key requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing strategic accounts and driving new business, experience in FinTech/Payment preferred, credit card or banking backgrounds.
- Fin Tech / Payment, credit card or banking experience is a must.
- Work experience with a competitor leading wallet will be a plus, alternatively online payments experience or even domestic Banking App experience.
- Commercial and contractual competence with direct experience of delivering from concept to go live
- Contract Negotiation & business development with partners
- Fluent in English
