Role description
We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth through strategic initiatives, key accounts and expansion into new markets. This is not a transactional sales role – it focuses on building strategic partnerships, launching innovative collaboration models and creating long-term value through joint initiatives with partners.
The position focuses on international markets with a strong emphasis on the EEA region.
Additionally, the role will implement e-commerce payment solutions for B2B transactions in sectors like manufacturing, retail. Focus on solving delayed payment issues, enabling multi-currency settlements, and integrating with B2B SaaS, including ERP and procurement systems.
What You'll Do:
- drive revenue growth from key accounts, strategic initiatives and new markets across international territories, particularly within the EEA,
- build and nurture strategic partnerships (alliances, product integrations, joint go-to-market strategies) with global and regional players,
- lead partner-driven business initiatives including market entry strategies, launching strategic collaborations and accelerating growth with existing partners,
- analyze specific verticals potential and develop actionable roadmaps for new opportunities across multiple countries,
- collaborate with country sales teams on large, complex deals in diverse EEA markets,
- implement payment solutions for B2B transactions in sectors including manufacturing, retail.
- 5+ years of experience in international business development, strategic partnerships or growth roles ideally with exposure to EEA markets,
- proven ability to build long-term relationships and negotiate at senior levels across varied cultural and regulatory environments,
- strong strategic thinking and ability to operate in a cross-functional multinational setting,
- experience in vertical analysis, international expansion and creating development plans for multiple regions,
- proven track record of delivering business initiatives and driving measurable growth,
- 3+ years of experience in e-commerce B2B,
- excellent English (written and spoken); additional European languages are a plus,
- designing or implementing B2B payment workflows and integrations,
- working with ERP or procurement systems for payment automation.
