DESCRIPTION
As our new Account Executive, your goal will be to identify, develop, and close expansion opportunities (cross-sell and up-sell) within a portfolio of existing enterprise customers across South East Europe and MEA.
You will work in close collaboration with Account Managers (AMs) and/or Customer Success Managers (CSMs), who maintain the primary relationship with the customer. Your mission will be to act as a strategic partner to maximize the value customers get from the Sinch product portfolio while driving revenue growth.
You will be based in Madrid, but you will collaborate with colleagues across Europe and report to the Sales Director South Europe. You territory will be the one assigned to South Europe MEA.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Strategic Relationship Management:
Build and manage executive-level relationships to position Sinch as a strategic partner within the assigned customer base - Opportunity Identification:
Proactively identify and pursue expansion opportunities, with a focus on qualified cross-sell and up-sell initiatives - Account Planning:
Collaborate closely with the AM/CSM to develop a strategic growth plan aligned with the client's goals and objectives - Solution Design:
Deeply understand the client's needs and business requirements to design tailored solutions that deliver tangible value - Commercial Deal Execution:
Lead the entire sales cycle for new opportunities, from pricing strategy to negotiation and contract closure - Pipeline Management:
Effectively manage and maintain a sales pipeline of growth opportunities, ensuring high accuracy and data hygiene - Market Research:
Stay constantly informed about industry trends, market activities, and competitors to adapt sales strategies
REQUIREMENTS
You are a strategic sales professional who thrives in a dynamic environment. You are motivated, results-oriented, and possess excellent interpersonal skills to quickly build relationships with clients and colleagues. We believe you have the following characteristics to succeed in this role:
- Proven track record of success in growing strategic accounts, with a focus on cross-selling and up-selling complex solutions in a B2B environment
- Experience working in a collaborative sales model, teaming with Account Managers or Customer Success Managers
- 3-7 years of B2B sales experience in industries such as Messaging, SaaS, CPaaS, Software, or Telecommunications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and native/C1 in Spanish
- Italian language is a plus
- Degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
