With presence in Spain, Portugal, Mexico and Brazil, we develop exclusive genomic products, mainly based on two technologies: microarrays and massive sequencing.
We are currently looking to fill a position of International Key Account Manager **The Role**
Drive the sales and marketing plan within the assigned territory, developing sales strategies to secure long-term deals that underpin the Company's growth ambitions for each market segment.
Develop excellent customer relationships at appropriate levels and functions, demonstrating a deep understanding of their evolving needs, while encouraging customers to work closely with the company.
Achieve all key performance indicators (KPIs), including revenue and account profitability targets, in a structured way to embrace the opportunities in the territory.
Through effective strategic management of its account base; define targets for each key account. Through an innovative strategy focused on promoting branded products to drive sales of the company's highest profit lines, covering opportunities across the portfolio.
Through data analysis, define account plans to achieve KPIs on contract fulfilment for branded and non-branded products and services.
Communicate effectively internally to gather and share information regarding market gaps.
Work quickly and effectively with sales management and business development to identify and meet customer needs.
Grow and develop accounts in the territory in a commercially viable manner using strategies agreed with the Chief Commercial officer
Participate in team activities such as regular team calls, regular team meetings, sharing of market information and market changes.
Proactively participate in the development of his/her role, including attending and participating in both internal and external training courses when required.
Liaises with the customer service team, in particular to ensure that all aspects of customer interaction are maintained in a professional manner and to the highest standards.
Manage the supply chain situation across multiple products both internally and externally with customers in order to manage their expectations.
Participate in meetings, congresses, exhibitions and conferences across Europe to engage with customers and promote NIM's range of products and services.
The person, skills and key qualities of an International Key Account Manager would include
Proven sales ability within the biotech industry. Previous experience in sales of branded or promoted products or services in healthcare environments.
Previous experience in promoting a mixed portfolio of products in healthcare is desirable.
Analytical skills to analyse sales data and prioritise accounts/sales is essential.
Have a clinical background to understand customer needs, product usage and quickly achieve customer credibility at all levels.
Be motivated and able to work on own initiative.
Demonstrate the ability to operate with a high level of market knowledge and understanding of market dynamics to identify opportunities in the biotech industry.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) Able to present statistical reports, account plans and sales analysis, with strong presentation skills to create internal as well as external impact.
Prepared to make decisions from an informed point of view and able to negotiate with clients to establish long term partnerships.
You must have self-confidence and a structured approach, as well as a commercial orientation and be able to demonstrate an assertive nature.

Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Health Sciences or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience in R&D Services about Cell & Gene Therapy and Genomics and Transcriptomics as applied to Biopharma, CROs and Academic Research Customers.
Desirable Advanced scientific degree (PhD or MD) in Life Sciences, with a deep Network of Relationships among R&D decision-makers in the Global Biopharma Industry.
5+ years of sales experience in Life Science Markets, such as Bioprocessing, Pharmaceutical or Biotech, including Clinical Research and Translation, with direct experience in B2B
Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp a new scientific area or medical discipline; humility to ask questions and learn from others.
Knowledge of the biotechnology industry and products development.
Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills: this includes use of MS Excel, PowerPoint and other common communication tools.
Ability to collaborate and model best professional behavior in fast moving, often high-pressure situations.
