We’re looking for an exceptional **Key Account Manager **to join the superstar team at Madrid
**Your mission**
You will play a pivotal role in the growth of Too Good To Go by using your experience in the Horeca&Bakery sector to close partnerships with prominent retailers in the spanish industry, your area focuses on saving all food waste of hotels, restaurants and food chains, also canteens and caterings.
You will also support the business development activities of the team, including preparing for pitches, specific trainnings and delivering pilot launches.
**Your role**
Your primary responsibility is to build relationships with important key accounts in Spain, your target is to motivate them to save their food waste by using our app. Reporting to the Key Account Lead responsible for these 2 verticals [Horeca and Bakery], you will work closely with our colleagues in our Key Partner Success team to ensure the successful onboarding of new stores and delivery of training to staff, and collaborate with other Key Accounts team members, as well as colleagues across marketing and independent sales.
The role will include:
- Pitching: create and deliver high quality, professional presentations to potential partners, and confidently speak about the business and food waste proposition.
- Proactive business development: independently and proactively keep in touch with stakeholders and decision-makers within your accounts
- Research: independently search for new opportunities, learn about the businesses in depth, map the stakeholders and understand their decision-making process
- Account Growth: developing strategies to grow and optimise your accounts and working with the retailer to increase store coverage and overall supply
- Planning and forecasting: building reports to track performance and identify trends, create financial projections and forecasts for internal planning and commercial proposals.
- Supporting roll outs: working with the team and the retailer to plan, schedule and execute store rollouts at scale
- Impact and legacy: working with Marketing to embed the Food Waste Movement into our partnerships
- Contributing to the Key Account strategy and supporting international cooperation across global key chain opportunities.
**Requirements**:
- Account Management experience, demonstrating an ability to build rapport, establish trust, deepen relationships, and grow business.
- Crucial: Data Analysis and Sheets/Excel skills to use raw data to create performance reports and projections to identify and understand trends, opportunities and issues.
- You’re a master communicator, you know when to speak, you know how to listen, and you know how to engage a whole room and keep their attention.
- A passion for the mission and raising awareness of food waste & sustainability.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Ability to lead negotiations skillfully, and create and deliver high impact pitches.
- Salesforce is your best friend
- Full proficiency in Spanish and English.
