JOB DESCRIPTION:
THE OPPORTUNITY

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

We are seeking a creative, proactive, organized, and eager-to-learn person ideally with knowledge of the travel industry and preferably accommodation wholesale to be able to also play an instrumental role on the re-shaping of the Customer Experience & Automation technology and data stack, evolving it to respond to increasing business needs.

If selected to fill this job vacancy, you will work closely with the wider Customer Experience & Automation team, as well as working collaboratively with the Product Management, Business Intelligence, and IT teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the complete programs, projects, initiatives and backlogs of Customer Experience & Automation area, report on compete portfolio and backlog progress status and risks.
- Manage project development from initiation to closure and be accountable for project results (requirements, QA, time, cost and return vs estimate).
- Develop and maintain concise and transparent relationships across the department and encourage a collaborative approach with cross-functional initiative teams (including representatives from other functional, areas and external providers).
- Assist in the Customer Experience & Automation team workload prioritization aligned to the whole team and Company-wide projects and priorities.
- Review team change requests to systems and respond with schedule/cost impact with alternatives.
- Prioritize team reported incidents and follow up on their resolution.
- Assist in the day to day to Customer Experience & Automation team members in the use of the new tools.
- Participate in I+D Customer Experience & Automation solutions projects, usage of AI, Big Data, System integrations, etc.
- Be on top of industry and technology trends.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- At least 5 years’ experience in similar role.
- Some experience in Cloud architecture and management (especially AWS and GCP).
- Strong communicator with great verbal and written skills both in Spanish and English.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics.
- Proficient in digital customer engagement platforms (ideally Marketo), Content Management Systems (ideally Drupal) and CRMs (ideally Salesforce).
- Experience in evaluating and comparing software solutions for the business.
- Some knowledge in software programming.
- A genuine interest and experience in the hotel and accommodation industry (Travel industry).
- Supplier management experience or working within an agency environment managing multiple suppliers is a desirable.
