Description
Our client is an American multinational manufacturer and marketer of branded consumer foods. The Iberia structure is s mall but is in constant change. Our client is the leanest market in Europe and therefore they need to be bold in the next years and transform their business to keep winning.
The Iberia HRBP will lead the execution of the HR strategy for Iberia in line with the cluster HR plans and Europe HR strategy, managing all phases of the employee life cycle and ensuring an outstanding employee experience.
**Main responsabilities**:
- Provide advice, guidance and consultative services to Iberia Market Leader and Iberia functional Managers on all people-related matters. Work with them to develop an organization defined to best meet business needs for Iberia business and the cluster
- Act as a coach, challenger and influencer, driving increased manager effectiveness
- Attract, recruit, develop and retain high-performing talent in Iberia
- Drive robust succession planning through Managers, making sure that we are developing our leaders and getting them ready for the next challenge
- Coordinate and supervise the payroll team to effectively manage payroll cycle in Iberia
- Manage employee benefits (health/life & accident insurance, commercial car fleet etc.) and proactively benchmark externally, working together with Total Rewards, to adapt and evolve the offer when needed
- Ensure excellent local execution of global Comp&Ben policies and programs
- Lead employee relations and employment law, ensuring employment policies are implemented fairly and consistently according to Spanish employment law
- Ensure and oversee compliance with Labour Risk Prevention policies in the Iberia, GDPR, local disability regulations etc.
- Support Europe HR projects (broader comms, career proposition)
- Develop and lead Diversity & Inclusion plans in Iberia, in compliance with local regulations to create an undeniable culture of belonging
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of HR Generalist experience
- A strong background with HR Business Partner accountabilities required
- Sound knowledge of Iberia HR/Employment Law and Employee Relations Issues
- Experience working within a multinational/international environment
- A track record of strong coaching, conflict management and influence up, down, and across the organization
- Very strong interpersonal and collaboration skills: excellent communication skills and ability to influence
- Highly self-motivated, self-starter, used to working with high levels of autonomy
