**JOB FUNCTION**:
As a HRBP for Takeda Spain, you will provide overall Human Resources and Talent & Development Management leadership and direction for all business units within your assigned region. You will be a strong business partner with our Leadership Team.
- Formulate partnerships to deliver value-added service to management and employees. Eg. Onboarding, Learning & development, Talent Review, Performance Review, Total reward, Labor relations.
- Act as consultant on HR-related topics, as well as an employee champion and change agent
- Assess and anticipate people-related needs, communicating needs proactively, and develop integrated solutions
- Coach managers and employees as appropriate
**ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
- Focus on organizational capabilities, tools, leadership and people management capabilities
- Consult with line management, providing HR guidance in terms of:
- 1.Performance management (career planning & development, coaching, counseling, disciplinary actions) 2.Workforce planning, succession planning or business unit restructures. 3.Sourcing, Recruiting & Selection (in close collaboration with Talent Acquisition). 4.Talent Infrastructure 5.HR Policy Interpretation
- Be responsible for successful delivery of global & regional HR initiatives for specified collectives, as well as owning HR service delivery
- Manage planned and predefined development and growth opportunities within the context of business needs for segmented groups of talent
- Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs as well evaluating and monitoring of success of training programs
- Ensure alignment on rewards & recognition, pay and benefits in active collaboration with Global Compensation and Benefit CoE
- Conduct employee surveys / feedback interviews and analyze key themes and trends to develop solutions to improve the employee experience
- Support site employee engagement initiatives, including co-ordination of employee events & communications
- Review operational HR processes (e.g. induction, payroll, offers etc) to ensure they are fit for purpose, recommending and implementing changes as appropriate
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations
- Promote, encourage and demonstrate commitment to Takeda-ism philosophy and values and act according to Corporate, Compliance and Legal standards
**EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE**
**Education**:
- University degree, ideally in Human Resources
**Experience**:
- Ideally previous industry related experience, international company experience, multi-cultural environment
- Minimum of 5 years generalist HR and/or HR Business Partner experience
- Best practice HR partnering to deliver strong business performance
**Skills**:
- Result oriented and able to develop plans/solutions and to deliver expected results even in ambiguous circumstances
- Skilled in developing HR plans/initiatives and aligning people management practices to support business objectives
- Openness and flexibility and ability to deal with and communicate change effectively
- Ability to manage and interpret employment laws into pragmatic solutions and navigate line management through its complexities
- Business acumen and commercial awareness
- Analytical and problem solving skills along with the ability to make timely and balanced decisions
- Business communication, negotiating and influencing
