Solid communication skills and relationship-building abilities, as well as the ability to keep a cool head under pressure and the desire to really own their role and take responsibility for our clients and their business success, is what we are looking for in our candidates.The Director of Business Development will continue to further develop our TransPerfect Digital engagement model, and will be responsible for identifying and engaging with client prospects as well as managing client relationships during the full life cycle of client campaigns.Position responsibilities:Source and close new clients through referrals, cold calling, networking, and other means (tradeshows, regional organizations, etc.)Build a productive pipeline and manage each phase of the sales cycleCultivate and maintain long-term relationships with clients by delivering elite client service and engaging them through developing expert knowledge of each client’s industry and organizationFormulate sales plan to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targetsGenerate daily outreach efforts (direct mail, digital marketing, cold calls) to prospective clientsDevelop an effective understanding of the capabilities, benefits, and competitive advantages of TransPerfect's servicesPresent TransPerfect's solutions via one-on-one, group, online, and in-person meetingsSet and manage client expectations while consulting with each client for best practicesManage and control pricing and contractual issuesTravel (including multiple annual conferences, client meetings) - domestic and/or internationalComplete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisorEssential skills required:Superior written and spoken communication skills in EnglishCommit to a high level of integrity and serviceDeliver quality workService-focused with a desire to exceed clients’ expectationsOwning your performance and taking responsibilityMultitask and work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environmentCommit to always treating everyone (from clients to co-workers to vendors to business partners) with the ultimate level of respectWork well in a team with people from a variety of different backgrounds and culturesBuild and maintain strategic relationships with clients and co-workersCelebrate diversity and embrace new ideas and differing perspectivesBe financially responsible and make sound financial decisionsTake active measures to achieve results and solve problemsEssential experience and qualifications required:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalentMinimum 3 years successful business development (hunting specifically) in a B2B setting with enterprise-level accountsPrevious experience within the Digital industryDesired skills and experience:Professional working proficiency in additional languagesExperience in Digital sales from a Digital Agency (Client Development or
