Business Development Director for a SaaS Consultancy in Barcelona

We are currently managing a **Business Development Director** role for a **SaaS Consultancy** in Barcelona.
The main goal of this role is to **plan, direct, and coordinate commercial activities** to achieve medium-term objectives and annual budget results, aligning with the company’s strategy and value proposition.

Business Development Director responsibilities:

- Report to the Partner responsible for business development. To the Management Committee, when formalized.
- **Organize the sales team**, aligning it with the company’s strategy and value proposition.
- **Set objectives** for the sales team. Supervise the execution of commercial activities.
- **Lead the sales process** (new business and recurring sales), in coordination with the involved team.
- **Define and implement the Key Account Management (KAM) methodology.**:

- Plan and execute **marketing actions to generate new leads.**:

- **Lead commercial opportunities** and customers considered strategic.
- Ensure quality customer service.
- Support the definition of the value proposition.
- Design and execute the strategy for partners and collaborators.
- Establish and monitor Good Sales Practices: segmentation, qualification, prioritization, pricing, discounts, CRM updates, etc.
- Execution of strategic initiatives and assigned corporate tasks.
- Promote company values and culture.
- Presence in the Extended Management Committee.

**Requirements**:

- Business vision.
- Ability to understand problems and propose approaches and solutions.
- Empathy and communication skills.
- Extensive experience in the sector,** minimum 5 years in the role and leading sales teams.**:

- Managerial experience.
- Detail-oriented, hardworking, and committed.
- Quick learner and ability to work under pressure.
- **Proficiency in English.**:

- **Residence in Catalonia is a must.**:

- Availability to travel (occasionally).
