Job requirements As a Business Development Manager at Procivis , your key responsibilities will be focussed on : Market Expansion: Develop and implement business development strategies to expand Procivis’ market presence in the EU region in the public sector. Client Acquisition: Identify and secure new business relationships and opportunities within the public sector, including participation in public tenders. Solution Sales: Present and sell our digital identity and credentials solutions to prospective clients, crafting customized proposals and delivering impactful presentations. Tender Management: Take responsibility for tenders in your territory and lead the cross‑functional bid team. Define the winning strategy and align it with the leadership. Partner Sales: Build and maintain a strong partner network in order to leverage partners for consulting, implementation and operation of our technology solution. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure project delivery, customer satisfaction and market feedback on our offerings. Requirements for the role Public sector Sales Track Record: You have 3+ years of experience in selling successfully complex software solutions to the public sector (ministries, government agencies) in the EU. You have a proven track record of winning public tenders. Sales Experience: 5+ years of experience in business development or sales (direct and indirect with partners) within the software industry, in particular with a focus on new business. IT Experience: Profound knowledge and experience in software solution selling for a software company, IT consultancy or IT system integrator. Domain Affinity: A strong understanding of the digital identity industry (digital identity, IAM, SSI, Verifiable Credentials) or related IT‑security space is a significant advantage and will allow you to get up to speed quickly. Educational Background: Completed bachelor’s or master’s degree. Language Skills: Fluent in English (written and verbal) + at least one European language (Spanish, Italian). Preferred Location: Home based with regular trips to clients and HQ.
