Key Responsibilities:

As a Front Office Agent, you will be the primary point of contact for guests, handling transactions, offering local insights, and anticipating their needs to create a seamless experience. You will also be responsible for creating a warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home.

Reporting Structure:

You will report directly to the Front Office Supervisor.

Day-to-Day Tasks:

  • Be the warm welcome that kicks off a memorable guest experience
  • Support the Front Office Supervisors in all required tasks
  • Acknowledge IHG Rewards Club and Kimpton Karma members and returning guests
  • Take and manage guest bookings, up-selling opportunities, and inform guests about ways to improve their stay
  • Handle cash and credit transactions
  • Swiftly check guests in and out, taking IDs, handing out room keys, and controlling and releasing safety deposit boxes
  • Record and act on guests' preferences and handle their messages, requests, questions, and concerns
  • Be a trusted contact for all guests, helping them with anything from bill issues to local knowledge
  • Stay safe at all times, following our safety procedures and reporting incidents
  • Take pride in your appearance and place as a brand ambassador
  • Stay informed about events and activities on the day's schedule

Requirements:

We are looking for a proactive, positive, energetic, dynamic, empathetic, team-worker with a passion for service. You should have a Bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field and 2+ years of experience working in the Front Office department. Fluency in local language and English is required, with additional languages being highly valuable.
