Compensation and Benefits Manager

At Alstom, we are seeking a highly skilled Compensation and Benefits Manager to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing our total rewards strategy, ensuring that our compensation and benefits programs align with our company objectives and remain competitive in the local market.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement total rewards strategies that support business objectives
- Design and administer compensation and benefits programs, including salary and bonus reviews, benefits renewals, and flexible benefits plans
- Provide advisory support to senior management and HR staff on compensation and benefits matters
- Manage projects related to rewards, including annual salary and bonus reviews, benefits renewals, and guaranteeing data accuracy across HR systems
- Propose budget for salary review and define salary bands
- Propose new country reward policies in line with Group objectives
- Propose or review compensation packages, including promotion and progressions
- Support the benefits administration and flexible benefits plan
- Review and approve the benefits contract renewal done by broker agency
- Provide annual information to Finance for annual reports
- Support job evaluation and grading
- Support international mobility process, and taxation management for expatriates
- Regular reporting and analysis on compensation and benefits trends to key stakeholders
- University degree in Business Administration or Economic Sciences
- Master's degree in Human Resources will be appreciated
- 5-8 years of experience as Compensation & Benefits Consultant or Finance Controller
- Spanish (mandatory)
- Fluent in English
- High analytical competencies and skilled in Excel
- Must be able to communicate with precision and transparency
- Skilled to communicate, and to coach and train managers
- Focused on continuous improvement & efficiency
- Team worker
