Job Summary

The Centre De Regulació Genòmica (Crg) is seeking a highly skilled Stem Cell and Gene Editing Specialist to join our Tissue Engineering Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing patient-derived organoid (PDO) and mouse and human pluripotent stem cell differentiation procedures, as well as executing CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and execute specific 2D/3D differentiation and gene editing procedures upon user request for specific projects.
  • Provide high-quality patient-derived organoid (PDO) and mouse and human pluripotent stem cell differentiation procedures.
  • Execute CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing services with high accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement new technologies in the fields of stem cell biology, stem cell differentiation, organoid formation, and CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in stem cell biology and ES/iPS cell differentiation systems.
  • At least 1 year of experience in CRISPR/Cas9 or related gene editing systems.
  • Experience in working in a Core Facility or Industry/Biotech/RD Facility.
  • Strong Tissue Culture experience for human and mouse ES/iPS cells and PDOs.
  • Strong experience in ES cell differentiation.
  • Experience in cell lines gene editing.
  • Experience with immunofluorescence, confocal, and FACS analysis for cellular characterizations.
