About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Stem Cell Specialist to join our Tissue Engineering Unit at the Centre de Regulació Genòmica (CRG). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing patient-derived organoid (PDO) and stem cell differentiation services, as well as executing CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and execute 2D and 3D stem cell differentiation procedures for specific projects
  • Provide CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing services for researchers
  • Work closely with the team to ensure accurate and efficient delivery of services
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of stem cell biology and gene editing technologies

Requirements

  • At least 3 years' experience in stem cell biology and ES/iPS cell differentiation systems
  • Experience in CRISPR/Cas9 or related gene editing systems
  • Strong tissue culture experience for human and mouse ES/iPS cells and PDOs
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
