The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and methodological Stem Cell, Differentiation and Gene Editing Specialist to join our Tissue Engineering Unit. The ideal candidate will provide patient-derived organoid (PDOs), mouse and human pluripotent 2D and 3D stem cell differentiation procedures, as well as CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing services. The candidate will set up specific 2D/3D differentiation and gene editing procedures upon user request for specific projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient-derived organoid (PDOs), mouse and human pluripotent 2D and 3D stem cell differentiation procedures
  • Execute CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing services
  • Set up specific 2D/3D differentiation and gene editing procedures upon user request
  • Work collaboratively with the research community to increase the impact of Stem Cell and Organoid projects

About the Unit

The Tissue Engineering Facility is a scientific-technological Core Facility within the Core Facilities Programme. Our goal is to provide CRG, PRBB and external researchers with the latest technologies used in the fields of stem cell biology, stem cell differentiation, organoid formation, induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) and CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing.
