About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Operations Manager to join our EMEA Marketing team at Google. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the delivery of our multi-annual EMEA Marketing strategy and its quarterly cross-product goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive forward the delivery of the multi-annual EMEA Marketing strategy and its quarterly cross-product goals by closely tracking its execution, flagging issues to decision makers, and proposing solutions to overcome any bottlenecks.
  • Enable teams to perform at their best, promote cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing to break down silos and maximize collective impact.
  • Identify and execute strategic projects, from defining overall strategy to executing cross-functional marketing initiatives sponsored by the EMEA Marketing executive team.
  • Drive process optimization, analyze existing marketing workflows, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and collaboration across teams.
Requirements
  • 4 years of experience in a management consulting, operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, or private equity role, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 2 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
  • 2 years of experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience in project management in a non-technical setting (e.g., strategy, sales, marketing), requiring the translation of long-term schedules into smaller, interrelated short-term work items.
  • Experience with strategy, from design to implementation, with experience in bringing together multiple stakeholders across work streams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 4 years of experience with analytical problem-solving, quantitative analysis, and communicating findings to executive management.
  • Experience working in virtual teams located across multiple regions, engaging with a diverse set of functional stakeholders and leaning on agile methodologies of work prioritization.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
  • Ability to work across teams, build relationships, and influence executives.
