About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cocktail Bar Director to join our team at SLS Barcelona. As a key member of our pre-opening team, you will be responsible for successfully launching and leading the growth of our cocktail bar, maintaining high standards of excellence, and driving performance improvement across all areas of our business.

You will work closely with our Director of Food & Beverage and Assistant Director of Food & Beverage to manage day-to-day operations, staff training, compliance, and health and food safety standards. Your responsibilities will include forecasting sales, managing inventory, and ensuring all items are correctly costed and priced according to margin targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the team and lead by example
  • Develop and implement effective operational strategies
  • Ensure high-quality service and guest satisfaction
  • Manage inventory, forecasting, and pricing
  • Collaborate with the Food & Beverage team to drive business growth
  • Implement and enforce cash and payment control policies
  • Manage budget and prepare monthly management accounts
Requirements
  • Highly motivated individual with a passion for drinks, food, service, and hospitality
  • Experience in the luxury hospitality sector is desirable
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English
  • Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook proficiency
  • Finance literate and able to manage budgets
  • Proven project management skills and ability to work under pressure
