Job Title: Front Office Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Supervisor to join our team at SLS Barcelona. As a key member of our pre-opening team, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational efficiency of all Front Office areas during shift and delivering exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the arrival and departure processes for all guests, ensuring accurate data entry in all systems.
  • Schedule and assign daily work, lead pre-shift meetings, and train team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor and evaluate team member performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching to improve service standards.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping to track room readiness for check-in and ensure a smooth guest experience.
  • Support team members in handling guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
  • Provide guests with accurate and timely information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions, ensuring accurate guest billing and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date on local events and activities, providing guests with valuable recommendations and insights.
  • Record and act on guest preferences, handling messages, requests, questions, and concerns in a proactive and empathetic manner.
  • Ensure all guests are quoted the correct rate as per the selling strategy and website.
  • Report any issues to the correct department and verify that work has been completed.
  • Maintain the reception and public areas to the highest standards of cleanliness, tidiness, and presentation.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of Front Office experience in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel.
  • Previous experience with pre-opening hotel operations is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of the SLS brand values and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in Spanish and English.
  • Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with guests and colleagues alike.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to SLS's unique culture and values.
  • Humility and a willingness to learn from others, with a positive and proactive attitude.
