Iberia Business Development Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director to join our team at Avanade. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and developing strategic relationships with clients in the Products industry.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and pursue high-potential transformation deals, leading and running entire sales cycles
- Guide and motivate a team of senior Business Developers to achieve their full potential
- Drive new and incremental revenue through prospecting, acquiring, and developing new business with direct clients
- Work closely with partners to drive new business and build a pipeline for growth and closing
- Maintain an extensive knowledge of current market conditions, competing offerings, and current penetration of services and solutions
- Experience selling across multiple Solution areas, preferably enterprise-scale consulting engagements
- Experience with Microsoft and other partners to grow their book of business
- Ability to anticipate, identify, and apply fast, effective solutions to remove roadblocks and circumstances
- Success as a Business Development Hunter with sophisticated closure capabilities
- Ability to act as a trusted advisor in addressing client business needs
We are looking for a team leader, deal hunter, and deal originator who is a self-aware, self-starter with superb interpersonal skills and the ability to establish strong relationships. You should be a skillful influencer of internal and external resources, with a passion for working collaboratively and driving sales in a solutions-selling environment at the C-suite level.
