In a rapidly evolving market, the Senior Sales Engineer must be adaptable, quickly learning new technologies and recognizing their benefits. Beyond technical skills, the role requires excellent communication abilities, fostering collaborative relationships with customers and partners. A sense of ownership and trustworthiness is essential, enabling the translation of customer needs into customized solutions.

The candidate should be enthusiastic about conducting training sessions for partners and customers and willing to travel to industry events to support sales and marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive demonstrations of Corel products.
  • Provide in-depth technical support to prospective customers.
  • Oversee Proof of Concept projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with customer requirements.
  • Offer expert guidance and recommendations on technical matters.
  • Maintain an advanced understanding of Corel products and competitive offerings.
  • Develop project concepts and proposals tailored to customer needs.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and Channel Partners to effectively allocate technical resources for sales support.
  • Coordinate all technical sales support activities for potential and existing customers.
  • Plan and execute a series of Technical Training sessions and Webinars, both online and in-person.
  • Mentor and assist in training new Sales Engineers and the sales team as necessary.

Required Skills

  • A minimum of 3 years (5+ for senior roles) of relevant experience in Sales Engineering within similar domains such as application/desktop virtualization, security, and IT infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with technologies including Parallels RAS, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop, VMware Horizon, Microsoft RDS, or Azure Virtual Desktop.
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Remote Desktop Services, including TS/RDSH and VDI Publishing.
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure solutions related to Systems, Network, and Security.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms, primarily Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS.
  • Ability to perform product demonstrations and presentations to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Strong writing skills for creating technical documentation.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and training capabilities.

Additional Requirements

  • A competitive attitude towards industry leaders such as Citrix and VMware.
  • At least 3 years (5+ for senior roles) of experience in Sales Engineering or IT Engineering.
  • Experience in implementing and administering application and desktop virtualization systems.
  • Experience in cloud-based computing.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is essential. Knowledge of French, Italian, or Spanish is a significant advantage.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, with travel expected to be a maximum of 20% of the time.
