Crew Scheduling Coordinator Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Crew Scheduling Coordinator to join our team at Volotea. As a Crew Scheduling Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating monthly crew schedules from scratch for both flight deck and cabin crew, ensuring that all schedules comply with flight time limitations, company standards, and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create monthly crew schedules for flight deck and cabin crew
  • Ensure training needs are correctly planned during the rostering process
  • Organize and maintain main KPI within the crew schedule department
  • Create and maintain training qualification, expiries, crew categories, and contract status on the AIMS database
  • Improve processes and monitoring tools within the department to allow for scaling with company growth
  • Coordinate tasks with internal departments involved in the operation, including flight ops, cabin crew, HR, training, and safety
  • Coordinate and supervise the crew scheduling team, follow up on their daily and monthly duties
  • Support the crew scheduling manager on team members' short-term progression evaluation
  • Provide new joiners with initial formation

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in crew planning, crew scheduling, or crew control
  • Knowledge of the AIMS scheduling system or similar
  • Mandatory advanced English level, both written and spoken
  • Computer literate (MS Office) and additional Microsoft or other professional IT background
  • Excellent ability to organize, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize
  • Internal customer-focused with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously, have initiative, and be creative
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent teamwork skills
