We are seeking a highly skilled Crew Scheduling Coordinator to join our team at Volotea. As a key member of our Flight Operations department, you will be responsible for creating monthly crew schedules from scratch, ensuring compliance with flight time limitations, company standards, and cost optimization.

Your primary objective will be to deliver a roster that meets the needs of both Flight Deck and Cabin Crew, while also ensuring training needs are correctly planned during the rostering process. You will be responsible for organizing and maintaining key performance indicators within the Crew Schedule department, as well as creating and maintaining training qualification, expiries, crew categories, and contract status on the AIMS database.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong background in crew planning, scheduling, or control, with a minimum of 3 years of experience. You must also have a solid understanding of the AIMS scheduling system or similar. Advanced English language skills are mandatory, and you will be required to pass a language proficiency test during the recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create monthly crew schedules from scratch for both Flight Deck and Cabin Crew
  • Ensure training needs are correctly planned during the rostering process
  • Organize and maintain key performance indicators within the Crew Schedule department
  • Create and maintain training qualification, expiries, crew categories, and contract status on the AIMS database
  • Improve processes and monitoring tools within the department
  • Coordinate tasks with internal departments involved in the operation
  • Supervise crew scheduling team and follow up on their daily and monthly duties

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in crew planning, scheduling, or control
  • Strong understanding of the AIMS scheduling system or similar
  • Advanced English language skills
  • Computer literate (MS Office) and additional Microsoft or other professional IT background
  • Excellent ability to organize, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize
  • Internal customer-focused with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously
