Job Title: Clinical Consultant Surgical

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Consultant Surgical to join our Abiomed Surgical Team located in Spain.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop our surgical business and ensure best clinical outcomes.
  • Establish Heart Recovery as a new standard of care, requiring a Heart Team approach.
  • Improve patient outcomes through education, implementing the latest clinical best practices, and medical staff interaction, with emphasis on OR and ICU.
  • Visit key institutions where patients have been equipped with the Impella Pump portfolio to collect clinically relevant data.
  • Proctor and support cases in new surgical accounts as well as complex cases at experienced sites.
  • Perform After Action Reviews (AAR) with MDs following cases and communicate results.
Requirements:
  • Clinical/technical degree
  • 5+ years' experience of direct patient support in OR with cardiac surgery and/or surgical medical devices in the field of Heart Failure and MCS (Mechanical Circulatory Support)
  • 3+ years of commercial experience related to products and technologies utilized in the cardiovascular space, Mechanical Circulatory Support
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac surgery, perfusion medicine, mechanical circulatory support, ICU, structural heart
  • Fluent in English and Italian
  • Driving license
