White Cap is a leading distributor for professional contractors in North America, supplying everything needed to build remarkable construction projects. As a Sales Development Professional, you'll be part of our Accelerated Sales Program, designed to fast-track your growth and development in outside sales.
About the RoleThis comprehensive training program will equip you with the skills, customer relationships, and product knowledge needed to succeed as an Account Manager. You'll work closely with our sales leaders for 6-12 months to develop a deep understanding of White Cap's business model, products, vendors, and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in classroom and on-the-job training to learn about White Cap's business model, products, and customer needs.
- Prepare and execute account plans to drive sales growth.
- Sell White Cap's value proposition and products to customers.
- Leverage District Sales Managers or experienced Account Managers for guidance on effective sales calls.
- Process customer orders and perform other duties as assigned.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- One to two years of sales experience or a strong background in a related field.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with team members.
- A competitive nature with a drive to succeed.
- Goal-oriented with personal accountability to deliver results.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and organize daily activities.
- Spanish language proficiency (a plus).
We offer a competitive salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Additionally, you'll enjoy benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for career growth and development.
