About the Role

The Senior EMEA Product Manager, Thermal Therapeutics will be responsible for driving business growth through focused market/competitive analysis and the development of a tactical marketing plan in coordination with the sales and marketing organization.

This is a strategic position in the EMEA Marketing organization, requiring a strong commercial background and proven track record of successful marketing planning and execution.

The successful candidate will be managing the key strategic products franchise, POLARx Cryo Ablation system, to support the growth of Boston Scientific in the Atrial Fibrillation (AF) Market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Development: Assist in the development and execution of post-market strategies, identify clinical/market trends, and suggest new product/marketing opportunities.
  • Building and Maintaining Relationships: Identify and develop relationships with key opinion leaders in the field, develop support structure and relationship with sales representatives and sales management.
  • Planning and Analysis: Develop operational product launch strategies, identify product roll-out strategy, and develop competitive strategy and product analysis.
  • Product / Market Management: Responsible for developing, coordinating, and executing product training, facilitates Physician to Physician training and selling, and develops downstream sales tools to support sales execution.
  • Quality: Ensure awareness and compliance with applicable standard operating procedures to meet, comply, and champion all quality and regulatory commitments of Boston Scientific.

Requirements

  • Business, Marketing, or Healthcare studies degree
  • 3+ years' work experience in a Product Manager function or equivalent position
  • Experience working within medical device and/or pharmaceutical sector is required, additional experience within the Electrophysiology (EP) franchise is an advantage
  • Strong commercial background and proven track record of successful marketing planning and execution resulting in plan achievement
  • Strong understanding on the opportunities of digital transformation and customer experience preferred
  • Strong business acumen and long-term business planning experience
  • Good clinical understanding
  • Very good project management skills
  • Very good analytical, creative, and out-of-the-box thinking skills are desirable
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • Based in one of the following cities (or close to them): Dusseldorf (Germany), Voisins-le-Bretonneux (France), Hemel Hempstead (UK), Milan (Italy), or Madrid (Spain)
