Job Description

We are seeking an experienced administrative assistant to join our Education and Training Department at Instituto De Salud Global De Barcelona. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the department, including scheduling meetings and events, processing payments and reimbursements, and organizing travel and logistics related to departmental activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Education and Training Department, including scheduling meetings and events, and maintaining internal department calendars.
  • Process payments and reimbursements, and manage departmental finances.
  • Organize travel and logistics related to departmental activities, including events and training programs.
  • Assist with events planning and management, including classroom logistics and other administrative tasks related to academic and training activities.
  • Provide support to the department director and other team members as needed.
Requirements
  • 3-7 years of experience in a similar administrative role.
  • Undergraduate degree or other professional certification/training in a related field.
  • Experience in an academic/research environment and/or in global health-related institutions is highly valued.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office and Google Workspace applications.
  • Problem resolution, ability to work independently and as part of a team, interest in learning new skills.
Language Requirements

Advanced written and spoken English required. Other advanced written and spoken languages, including Spanish, Catalan, and Portuguese, are highly valued.

This is a part-time (50%) position with a duration of 1 year (subject to renewal). The starting date is January. The salary range is Technic II.
