About the Opportunity

N26 is seeking a seasoned Anti-Financial Crime Operations Lead to join our AFC Operations Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and company policies related to Anti-Financial Crime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of analysts and investigators to detect and prevent financial crime
  • Ensure timely and accurate investigation of suspicious activities and reporting
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of AFC controls
  • Coordinate with other departments to implement and enforce/improve AFC policies
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
  • Support responding to audits and regulatory inquiries as needed
Requirements
  • Several years of relevant banking experience in Anti-Financial Crime
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Experience with Spanish AML/CTF regulation and handling reporting to SEPBLAC
  • Bachelor's degree (ideally in law, business or finance) preferred, but not essential
  • Knowledge of MS Office (G suits) skills for Excel and Word
  • In-depth understanding of Anti-Financial Crime regulations and compliance standards
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
