About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Anti-Financial Crime Operations Team Lead to join our AFC Operations Department at N26. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and relevant company policies related to Anti-Financial Crime.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage a team of analysts and investigators to detect and prevent financial crime.
  2. Oversee daily operations to ensure timely and accurate investigation of suspicious activities and reporting.
  3. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of AFC controls and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  4. Collaborate with other departments to implement and enforce/improve AFC policies.
  5. Develop and implement training programs to enhance team members' knowledge and skills.
Requirements
  1. Several years of relevant banking experience in Anti-Financial Crime.
  2. Strong leadership and team management skills.
  3. Experience with Spanish AML/CTF regulation and handling reporting to SEPBLAC.
  4. Bachelor's degree (ideally in law, business, or finance) preferred, but not essential.
  5. Knowledge of MS Office (G Suite) skills for Excel and Word.
  6. In-depth understanding of Anti-Financial Crime regulations and compliance standards.
  7. Fluency in English and Spanish spoken and written (native speaker will be a plus).
