Join Amazon's Prime Video Team as a Team Manager Operations

Are you ready to shape the future of entertainment with Amazon's Prime Video team? We're looking for a skilled Team Manager Operations to lead our digital content operations team.

About the Role

As a Team Manager Operations, you will be responsible for supervising a team of digital content associates, managing defined problems, and delivering on team goals. You will work closely with internal and external teams to execute business goals, guide and own Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and plan and commit to deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of 10-15 on tasks related to content publishing, quality, or data labelling
  • Partner with internal and external teams to execute business goals
  • Guide and own Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and share best practices across all teams
  • Plan and commit to deliverables by managing the team resources and infrastructure, queue, shifts, cross-training, and time off
  • Provide support for the optimization of various operations, team productivity, customer experience, and workforce metrics
  • Perform root cause analysis and create documentation to reflect the identified gaps, problem, root cause, and solutions
  • Initiate and lead process improvement projects, present solutions, and implement them to relevant operational areas
  • Evaluate existing team members and hire new ones while applying the Amazon hiring bar
About the Team

The Prime Video Global Operations team partners with a wide range of stakeholders across Prime Video to oversee asset deliveries, system processing, and assembly, and on-time, defect-free, and complete content publishing to Prime Video's global audience. We obsess over ensuring that every search, discovery, and playback interaction with Prime Video is device-agnostic, defect-free, and results in a high engagement experience for customers.

Requirements
  • Experience of directly managing a 10+ member team
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience in influencing both external and internal stakeholders
  • Experience in analysing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified or trained in Lean Six Sigma methodology
  • Experience in Post house/Studios industry in the content publishing or quality management domain
  • Experience and understanding of digital media and/or digital video supply chain
  • Experience in data analysis, either through professional experience or education
  • Experience in content publishing, quality, and data labelling
