About the Role:

Nike Retail is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a Department Manager/Coach, you will play a key role in leading a team of sales floor employees to achieve sales goals and provide premium brand experiences to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Motivate Team Members: Utilize your exceptional leadership skills to motivate and lead a team of sales floor employees to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Manage Daily Operations: Oversee daily operations in your department to ensure that sales goals are met, and the store is well-presented and stocked.
  • Improve Customer Experience: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
  • Represent the Brand: Represent the Nike brand in a positive and professional manner, and ensure that all team members are aware of and adhere to Nike's standards and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Store and Corporate Partners: Work closely with store and corporate partners to achieve sales goals and improve the overall customer experience.

Commercial Function:

  • Inventory Management: Ensure that all inventory processes are accurate and efficient, and that the sales floor is always stocked and well-presented.
  • Product Receipt and Visual Presentation: Oversee the receipt and visual presentation of products to ensure that they meet Nike's standards and guidelines.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Use reporting tools to analyze sales data and make informed business decisions.

Experience of Athletes Function:

  • Customer Experience: Ensure that the team has the tools and resources to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Community Ambassador Activities: Lead Nike Community Ambassador activities to strengthen the team and enhance the customer experience.
  • Hiring and Onboarding: Oversee the hiring and onboarding process for new team members.

Customer Experience Function:

  • Lead by Example: Lead by example and demonstrate exceptional customer service skills to the team.
  • Brand Knowledge: Ensure that the team has the necessary brand knowledge to provide exceptional customer service.
