We are a pioneering company that has been redefining the boundaries of what is possible since our inception. We are currently looking for a highly organized and proactive Assistant to the General Manager to support our Fulfillment Center operations.
Role Overview:
In this vital position, you will collaborate closely with the General Manager, ensuring seamless operations within the facility. Your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities aimed at enhancing employee engagement and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and coordinate employee engagement activities, including competitions and celebrations, while managing budgets and timelines throughout the year.
- Develop event plans tailored to the site’s requirements, create promotional materials, and liaise with stakeholders to execute site projects.
- Oversee communication channels within the Fulfillment Center, including newsletters and message boards, to ensure effective information dissemination.
- Act as the site’s Charity Champion, managing the charity budget and collaborating with central teams to integrate local charitable initiatives.
- Facilitate the recognition programs for associates, encouraging participation from both leadership and staff.
- Handle travel arrangements and administrative tasks for the leadership team, including diary management and meeting action tracking.
- Coordinate visitor engagements on behalf of the General Manager and leadership team.
- Contribute positively to the workplace culture, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Work Schedule:
This position typically follows a Monday to Friday schedule, with the possibility of additional hours and flexibility as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
- Proven experience in relevant responsibilities as outlined above.
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- High proficiency in English and Spanish; proficiency in other EU languages is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a large-scale, fast-paced, process-driven environment.
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.
