General Manager's Assistant

We are a leading e-commerce company that pioneers innovation and excellence in logistics and customer service. Our Fulfillment Centers are the backbone of our operations, and we are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team as a General Manager's Assistant.
Job SummaryThis is a critical role that requires a high level of coordination and communication skills. As a General Manager's Assistant, you will be responsible for planning and organizing employee engagement events, managing budgets, and driving communication across the Fulfillment Center. You will also act as the site Charity Champion, coordinating charity initiatives and donations.
Key Responsibilities- Event Planning and Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and organize onsite employee engagement events, including competitions, celebrations, and handouts, and manage associated budgets and deadlines throughout the year.
- Communication and Stakeholder Management: Manage communication channels across the Fulfillment Center, including newsletters, corporate communications, and site-specific message boards and feedback channels.
- Charity and Community Engagement: Act as the site Charity Champion, coordinating the site charity budget, working with central teams to embed network initiatives, and making local charity donations and campaigns.
- Leadership Team Support: Manage the network recognition programs onsite for associates, drive participation amongst leadership team and associate population, and be responsible for the overall direction and coordination of the leadership team's travel and administration.
- Project Coordination: Work closely with all support staff to build, coordinate, and secure robust support and resources for projects and initiatives.
- Visitor Coordination: Welcome and coordinate visitors on behalf of the General Manager and leadership team of the Fulfillment Center.
- Experience: Demonstrable experience in the key responsibilities of the role, as described above.
- Communication and Organization: Ability to effectively prioritize and deliver multiple assignments while also serving as a point of contact for a large team.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Language Skills: High proficiency of English and Spanish languages; open to other EU languages.
- Previous Experience: Previous working experience within a large scale, rapid, and process-driven environment would be beneficial.
- Education: Degree level qualification or equivalent.
