Position Overview: We are in search of a highly motivated and exceptionally organized Assistant to the General Manager to support our Fulfillment Center operations. This role involves close collaboration with the General Manager to ensure smooth operations.

About Amazon's Fulfillment Centers: Our Operations teams are tasked with managing a vast array of fast-moving inventory, ensuring that our customers receive their orders promptly while continuously improving processes and workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and organize employee engagement events, including competitions and celebrations, while managing budgets and timelines throughout the year.
  • Design and implement event campaigns tailored to the site's needs, collaborating with stakeholders to execute site projects effectively.
  • Oversee communication channels within the Fulfillment Center, including newsletters and site-specific message boards.
  • Act as the Charity Champion, managing the site charity budget and coordinating local initiatives alongside central teams.
  • Facilitate recognition programs for associates, driving participation from leadership and the associate population.
  • Manage the travel and administrative needs of the leadership team, including diary management and meeting action tracking.
  • Collaborate with support staff to ensure robust resources for projects and initiatives.
  • Welcome and coordinate visitors on behalf of the General Manager and leadership team.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in key responsibilities as outlined above.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments while serving as a point of contact for a large team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish; proficiency in other EU languages is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a large-scale, fast-paced, process-driven environment.
  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent.
