About the Role:

As a member of the Confluent Sales Team, the Account Executive, Digital Native Business is responsible for selling Confluent solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises in the French market. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the French market and the ability to effectively communicate the value of Confluent's data streaming platform to potential customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth for large, diverse, complex territories in the French market.
  • Proactively prospect, identify, qualify, develop, and close a sales pipeline of net-new logos in the French market.
  • Manage the entire sales process, collaborating with team members in business development, customer success, and support to ensure customer success.
  • Participate in the development, presentation, and sales of a value proposition tailored to the French market.
  • Partner with Solutions Engineers & Professional Services to ensure customer success and provide technical support to customers in the French market.
  • Liaise with customer contacts to manage customer relationships, identify new opportunities, and maximize sales in the French market.
  • Responsible for understanding Confluent offerings and the competitive landscape in the French market.
  • Travel to customer sites in the French market to identify/develop sales opportunities when required.
  • Ability to negotiate SaaS/cloud/software contracts in the French market.
  • Must be fluent in English and French.

What You Will Bring:
  • 3+ years of field experience in a quota-carrying role focused on landing net-new logos in the French market.
  • Prior experience in Big Data, Cloud, SaaS, Open Source, or Enterprise IT Solutions.
  • Previous sales methodology training (e.g. MEDDPICC, Challenger, etc.).
  • Consistent track record of success and history of overachieving and hitting quota attainment.
  • Exceptional communication skills - written and oral including strong presentation skills.
  • High integrity, intelligence, self-driven, and team player.
  • Highly developed selling, customer relations, and negotiation skills.
  • Open to travel to customer locations in the French market as needed.
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent preferred.
